MUSCAT CITY TOUR
GRAND MOSQUE (PANORAMIC TOUR) - AL ALAM PALACE - JALALI AND MIRANI - BAIT AL ZUBAIR MUSEUM - MUTRAH
We will start the day with a panoramic tour of the Grand Mosque, the most important mosque in the Sultanate of Oman. It was built in the best Arab-Islamic style between 1995 and 2001 in the city of Muscat, and can accommodate 20,000 worshippers in total. We will then visit the Al Alam Palace, the residence of the Sultan, where we will make a photo stop outside. We will continue by bus with a panoramic stop to see the Portuguese fortresses: Jalali and Mirani and the coast in the background. The tour continues towards the old part of the city. Visit the Bait Al Zubair museum, which houses several collections of objects representative of Omani culture. We will end in the traditional Mutrah neighborhood, where we can stroll through the souk that maintains its oriental atmosphere. Return to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.

MUSCAT – FÁBRICA AMOUAGE – JABREEN – BAHLA - AL HAMRA – MISFAT – NIZWA
Breakfast. Departure to the Omani perfume factory of Amouage which follows the Arabian perfume tradition whose perfumes use 120 natural components. Then departure to Jabreen to visit the best castle in Oman built in the late 17th century. This castle has extremely well planned layouts with space for the “Wali”, the ladies’ bathroom, the kitchen, the “MAJLIS” etc. Most of the ceilings are decorated with beautiful paintings with Islamic motifs. We will stop at Bahla to take a photograph of the fort, a World Heritage Site. Later, we will visit Hamra, a 400-year-old town in the Ad Dakhiliyah region, northeast of Oman. Continue to the small village of Misfah, a wonder built in the heart of a mountain where you can stroll through its narrow streets and learn about traditional irrigation systems (Falaj). Finally we head to Nizwa, which was the ancient capital of Oman in the 6th and 7th centuries. Today it remains one of the most popular tourist attractions with its historic buildings and imposing fortress. Transfer to the hotel in Nizwa. Dinner and overnight.

NIZWA - BIRKAT AL MOUZ - WAHIBA SANDS
Breakfast. We will visit Nizwa, visit the fort with its huge round tower built in the 17th century to defend the route to the interior. Time to walk around the souk. Then we will stop on the way to visit Birkat Al Mouz and enjoy a spectacular landscape full of banana trees and beautiful farms. Continue to Wahiba Sands, and take the 4X4 excursion for the sunset. Breakfast. Departure in 4x4 vehicles. Then continue to Wadi Bani Khalid, considered the largest, most famous and most beautiful oasis in Oman. We will have the opportunity to enjoy the natural pools of emerald water surrounded by palm trees, all in a desert landscape with rocks and steep cliffs. Then departure to Ras Al Jinz, a turtle sanctuary where they come at night to lay their eggs in the sand (with an expert local guide in English). Dinner and accommodation.

RAS AL JINZ – SUR - WADI SHAB – QURIYAT - BIMAH SINKHLOE – MUSCAT
Breakfast. Departure towards the South, along the coast, a landscape surrounded by hills. We will visit the shipyard where the famous wooden dhows (traditional sailing boats of Arab origin) are still made and the white Ayga houses. Continuation along the coastal road towards Wadi Shab, from where the water of the wadi (river) forms a set of beautiful natural pools and waterfalls of different shades of green and blue protected by very high mountains. Access to the gorge is by boat and then a ride of approximately 40 minutes takes us inland. Picnic lunch. We will stop at Bimah Sinkhole, a kind of raft-cenote 100 metres in diameter with the appearance of a crater under the sea (possibility of swimming). Finally, visit Quriyat, a typical fishing village where you can see the salt flats and the village of Sahel. Return to Muscat. Dinner and accommodation.
